That’s why social issues and global challenges are in our curriculum. Through projects, community initiatives and volunteering, we encourage you to contribute and make a positive impact.
Here they learn to make ethical decisions, respect diversity and adopt sustainable habits. So when they leave school, they will be ready to act and transform their environment.
The Pachas students have been on mission for more than 10 years in Monguí, Boyacá, under the coordination of Professor Noel Rodríguez, promoting youth leadership and supporting the community. They have benefited 1,200 people with medical attention, delivered 1,500 markets and school kits, trained 100 young people and planted 1,000 trees. Their work improves infrastructure, health and local leadership.
Bureche School's Beach Clean Up is an environmental initiative where the educational community cleans beaches in Santa Marta, promoting responsibility, respect and teamwork. In addition to collecting waste, it seeks to raise awareness about the preservation of marine ecosystems and promote sustainable habits. The 4th edition of this activity was held in 2025.
Since 2016, the New Cambridge School Model United Nations (NCSMUN) allows students to assume diplomatic roles to debate global issues, fostering leadership and argumentation. With six editions and strategic alliances, it has grown as a reference in the region. More than an event, it is a seedbed for leadership that strengthens organizational, communication and mediation skills.
Comprehensive program that includes mobility, bilingualism and the home system, with events such as cycling, 2K race and teaching English in official schools in Valledupar. It also manages the entry and exit of students, promoting values and civic culture. As part of bilingualism, 11th and 12th grade students offer English classes to 15 students from official institutions, strengthening their language skills.
Our students were invited to participate in OLINMUN, a prestigious model of the Olinca School in Mexico City, part of the Cognita network, with 20 years of trajectory. Our delegation traveled to the event, representing us in an exceptional way in this international space, standing out for their performance and commitment.
The “Botellitas de Amor” project teaches children how to implement actions to use waste correctly and efficiently. Through this learning, students acquire tools to contribute to the care of the environment, encouraging recycling and reuse of materials, all with a practical and educational approach.
Cleanups in our CBC areas are frequent, promoting socio-environmental responsibility, health and community commitment. With more than a year of activities, we collect usable waste, clean affected areas and beautify our environment. The entire educational community and biodiversity benefit by reducing solid waste pollution.
