Bureche School renews its infrastructure and bets on new academic projects

Bureche School held the official inauguration of its new coliseum, a modern sports complex that is integrated into the school’s learning spaces as part of its commitment to an education that transcends academics and strengthens the physical, emotional and social development of its students.

The ceremony was attended by students, families, coaches, allied sports schools and invited media. It was a day full of institutional meaning, in which the value of sport as an engine for personal growth, coexistence and excellence was reaffirmed.

In coherence with Bureche’s educational approach, which promotes the development of life skills, the new coliseum is projected as a key stage to strengthen disciplines such as football, basketball and volleyball, in which students from the institution have proudly represented Santa Marta and the department in regional, national and international competitions.

"In Bureche we believe that education is lived in all spaces. This coliseum is much more than a physical work: it is a commitment to cultivate effort, discipline, resilience and teamwork".

During the day, symbolic sporting presentations were made and some of the institutional projection projects were socialised, through which the school continues to strengthen its educational community, promoting student leadership and consolidating strategic alliances for the future.

As part of the agenda of the event, the school held a dialogue with journalists and media of the city, in which images were shared of how the new facilities of the pre-school will look like. Another important point that was shared during the conference was the impact of the Redcol Impact programme, through the Amparo Scholarship project, which annually benefits a group of students in each of the cities of the Redcol schools, and for Bureche today has 24 students from strata 1 and 2 who have been selected through different allied foundations and benefited with educational scholarships for their training process from pre-school until they graduate as high school graduates, providing them with tools to generate social change and a real transformation in their family environment.

This meeting opened up new possibilities for articulation with the local community and made visible the positive impact of the Bureche educational project in the city of Santa Marta, ratifying its commitment to education.
