Patrick is an American History graduate from Franklin Pierce University in New Hampshire. He decided to pursue a career in education and worked at a bilingual preschool for students with disabilities while studying at St. John's University in New York to complete his first master's degree with dual degrees in general education and special education. Later, he studied at Stony Brook University where he earned his second master's degree in leadership of educational institutions.
Since 2014 he has been based in Colombia and employed at Bureche School. He’s held different positions such as elementary teacher, Academic Council member, elected school board member, elementary team leader, and five years as High School Director, where he managed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program.
Patrick is passionate about education and has over 15 years of experience in educating children and youth. His primary interest in creating collaborative work strategies in the team of teachers, promoting more active pedagogical practices in the classroom, and building a common language to enrich the school's values and conflict resolution program. These are fundamental aspects so that Bureche School can continue being a school recognized and positioned for its educational quality in the region.
